Our Mission
The mission of Lemon Bay High School is to inspire students, teachers, and parents to form a community of learners to promote excellence through a varied curriculum, to provide the tools necessary to foster positive contributions to our society, and instill a commitment to academic and personal achievement.
Our Beliefs
All students can and should learn. Each student has individual value with unique gifts and needs, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional. Our chief priority as a school is to help students learn. Parents, students, and staff must work together to form an effective community that supports learning. High expectations and clear goals will promote excellence in our students. Our school must foster and instill a commitment in our students to continue our achievement beyond high school. Students learn in a variety of ways. A varied curriculum is necessary to address those differences.

Welcome from our Principal
Hello, Lemon Bay Manta Ray friends and family! It is my pleasure to introduce myself as the new Principal of Lemon Bay High School, I am honored to be chosen to lead this magnificent school community. I have several degrees, including a Bachelors in Secondary Math Education from the University of South Florida and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. I have gained a lot of experience from both my time in the classroom as well as my time spent as an assistant principal at Lemon Bay High. I spent a total of nine years teaching mathematics, with two in Hillsborough County prior to coming to Lemon Bay High School. I have been at Lemon Bay since 2005. Since 2012, I have been an assistant principal at Lemon Bay High School and have overseen most aspects of the school, with the majority of my time overseeing curriculum. In addition to curriculum, I have also covered discipline and testing. Some of the accomplishments that I am most proud of are:
- Bringing the Cambridge AICE program to LBHS
- Starting a school within a school program at LBHS to help with struggling students
- Increasing our college and career acceleration rate from 47% in 2016 to 93% in 2022
- Increasing our Graduation Rate from 85 % in 2016 to 98% in 2022
As I stated before, I am honored to lead this amazing staff and am privileged to be able to work with such a supportive community. From the outside, Lemon Bay High is one of the most beautiful schools, but the students, staff, and community only enhance what you see from the outside. I look forward to helping Lemon Bay High get to the next level and find success for all!
