MS. NICOLE LEE- TEACHER OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to Ms. Lee, our 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year!

The nominations for Ms. Lee told a consistent story: she is kind, caring, supportive, and deeply invested in her students. Students shared that she makes them feel comfortable, encourages their creativity, listens to their ideas, and makes school a better place to be. One student summed it up simply: “You can tell she really cares about all of her students.”

MISS BAYLEE GOFF- SUPPORT STAFF OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to Miss Baylee Goff, our 2026–2027 Support Staff of the Year!

Again and again, students described Miss Goff as kind, helpful, approachable, and someone who always has a smile. Her impact is especially evident in Culinary, where one student shared that “Chef Goff helps me, and teaches me instead of just giving me the answer.” Others simply said she makes their day.

CHRISSY FREEMAN- ROOKIE TEACHER OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to Miss Chrissy Freeman, our 2026–2027 Rookie of the Year!

For someone new to teaching, Miss Freeman has already made quite an impact. Students described her as supportive, understanding, respectful, funny, and always willing to help. One student said “she helped me really understand math,” while another shared that Miss Freeman was the teacher who helped them through some of their hardest days.

We are excited, proud and lucky to have Ms. Lee, Miss Goff and Miss Freeman as part of the Manta Ray family!
